HGC-9, 10F; Pr-3751; SC-82.4A. In the name and types of Alexander III of Macedon. Obverse: Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin; Reverse: Zeus seated left; MI to left; monogram below throne. This early Seleukid Tetradrachm is boldly struck in high relief. The surfaces display deep cabinet toning with traces of luster in the fields. Minor marks are noted on the edges of the thick flan. An artistic and well-produced example.
