Obverse: Diademed head of Zeus Ammon, wearing horn; Reverse: Eagle standing facing left on thunderbolt, cornucopia to right; ΣE monogram below. A beautiful Ptolemaic bronze piece with a fine portrait of Zeus. Free of any damage or corrosion, its surfaces offer a rich brown patina that gives the coin an elegant presence. A rather impressive example of this large-format fractional denomination.
