Svor-1669; SNG Cop-352. Obverse: Diademed head of Ptolemy I right, wearing aegis around neck; Reverse: Eagle standing left on thunderbolt; LH (date) to left, ΠA to right. A well-preserved Tetradrachm with an even matte-gray tone. The nicely centered strike yields a pleasing portrait of the Ptolemaic patriarch and strong reverse details. Subtle underlying brilliance in the fields adds depth to this appealing piece.
