RPC-3309C; SNG von Aulock-4356. Obverse: Bare head of Augustus to right; ΛΥ across fields; Reverse: Two citharas, with plectrum above; M-A across fields. An interesting Provincial type with a charming early portrait of Rome's first emperor. The argent surfaces are only lightly toned and retain plenty of mint luster. Free from any damage or problems, this is a rather lovely silver piece.
