DOMITIAN, A.D. 81-96. Trio of AE Denominations (3 Pieces). All NGC Certified.
A nice grouping of bronze denominations of Domitian, the last of the famous "Twelve Caesars". Featuring a range of patina color and issues both as Caesar and as Augustus, this lot offers pleasing variety. All pieces exhibit circulation wear but retain a charming originality.

1) AE Dupondius. Struck under Titus, A.D. 80-81. NGC VF. Edge Scuff. Issue as Caesar. Obverse: Laureate head right; Reverse: Concordia seated left, holding patera and cornucopia.

2) AE As, A.D. 87. NGC FINE. Scratches. RIC-550. Obverse: Laureate head right; Reverse: Virtus standing right, foot on helmet, holding spear and parazonium.

3) AE Dupondius, A.D. 85. NGC Ch FINE. Scratches. RIC-300. Obverse: Radiate head right; Reverse: Virtus standing right, foot on helmet, holding spear and parazonium.
