MIXED LOTS. Trio of BI Nummi (3 Pieces), ca. Early 4th Century A.D. All NGC Certified.
This charming trio includes Billon issues from three rulers of the Tetrarchy, minted in three distant corners of the Roman Empire. All pieces display abundant detail and attractive patina. Free from any damage or problems, this is a nice opportunity for anyone looking to expand their collection of issues from Diocletian's monetary reforms.

1) DIOCLETIAN. BI Nummus. Alexandria Mint, ca. A.D. 302-3. NGC Ch EF. RIC-34A. Obverse: Laureate head right; Reverse: Genius standing left, holding patera and cornucopia.

2) CONSTANTIUS I, AS CAESAR. BI Nummus London Mint, ca. A.D. 303. NGC Ch VF. RIC-37A. Obverse: Laureate and cuirassed bust right; Reverse: Genuis, nude but for chlamys over left shoulder, standing left, holding patera and cornucopia.

3) MAXIMINUS II. BI Reduced Nummus. Thessalonica Mint, ca. A.D. 312-3. NGC Ch EF. RIC-61A. Obverse: Laureate and cuirassed bust right; Reverse: Jupiter standing left, holding victory on globe and leaning on scepter; to left, eagle holding wreath at feet.
