Fr-4A; KM-84. Type VII bifacial countermark: Lion advancing left, with legend around. Applied to an 1849-CR JB Costa Rica (Central American Republic) 1 Escudo (KM-14). Presenting a fair amount of handling as well as a few light scratches upon the reverse, this example undoubtedly fills a hole for an interesting countermark series.
