KM-2. Mintage: 16,000. The first from this incomparably difficult KEY DATE we can recall presenting in recent years, this piece offers generous detail consistent with premium Choice Very Fine pieces. Some unnatural glossiness has since retoned a rich magenta gray color, almost completely disguising any sign of maltreatment. Much more satisfying and attractive than what most collectors would expect for the designation.
