Obverse: Nude female kneeling left, holding pickaxe and unearthed kylix; shovel and basket with other discoveries in background to left; in foreground, facing bust and coins emerging from the dirt; Reverse: Mostly blank field, with a slightly recessed area in the lower half revealing Doric column between facing bust of Athena with triple-crested Attic helmet and Pharaonic bust left. Light brown surfaces, with some pleasing highlights and a warming matte quality. Quite SCARCE this pleasing.
