GREAT BRITAIN. Shilling, ND (1624). London Mint; mm: trefoil. James I. PCGS Genuine--Scratch, VF Details.
S-2668; KM-59. Obverse: Crowned and armored bust right; XII (mark of value) to left; Reverse: Coat-of-arms over long cross fourchee. A wonderfully detailed Shilling with consistent pewter and steel gray surfaces. Some centuries-old scratches in the right obverse field are now little more than evidence of circulation. Rather seldom encountered and emanating from a popular series, we expect this piece will catch many eyes and bids.
Estimate: $150 - $300
