Obverse: Bust of Nelson facing left, perimeter legend; Reverse: Bellona standing, right, on the prow of a galley, holding a trident in her left hand and a thunderbolt in her right; perimeter legend recounting Nelson's key naval victories. Number 6 in Mudie's National Series of Medals. Nelson, one of history's greatest naval commanders, was fatally wounded in his final victory at the Battle of Trafalgar.
