KM-Unlisted. Countermark: Variety S1d; Flower-like design. Applied to the obverse of an 1814-LM JP Peru bust 8 Reales of Ferdinand VII (KM-116). An EXTREMELY RARE host coin, as well as a rather late date for the issue. While the surfaces have been cleaned, they retain ample detail and exhibit a touch of pleasing tone. The countermark appears crisp and fresh, having been applied boldly on the obverse field. A rare opportunity for advanced collectors of the series.
