Obverse: Liberty, standing facing, sword sheathed at her side, places laurel wreaths on the bowed heads of Industry (left) and Art (right) with their attributes at their respective feet; "1876" below, perimeter legend within rope-twist border; Reverse: Liberty, on one knee, sword drawn, reaches up to circlet of 13 radiant stars; perimeter legend within rope-twist border.
