KM-Y-16.2. A sharp strike endows legends with generous thickness and adds definition to the characteristically weak scimitar pommels. Very crude in nature, a sharp wire rim protrudes from the flan at 1 o'clock, elevated over a millimeter over the obverse. Krause states that this issue was made from the punched out centers of Maria Theresa Talers, a rough practice that likely caused this abnormal metal flow. Still quite bright and lustrous with charcoal-brown patina across both faces.
