Obverse: Early 19th century soldier, standing, facing left, superimposed on a polylobe; perimeter legend; Reverse: Crowned Arms of Fribourg within a laurel wreath, perimeter legend, denomination below. An issue with largely traditional design elements, in contrast to many of the medals of the same period. A very attractive, lustrous example with blast-white color.
