Obverse: Seven-line legend within oak wreath, perimeter legend; Reverse: Depiction of the national monument symbolizing the entry of Geneva into the Swiss Confederation, perimeter legend. Geneva joined the Swiss Confederation on 12 September 1814; this monument was erected for the 50th anniversary celebration in 1864.
