Obverse: Arms of Glarus surrounded by a mixed oak and laurel wreath; perimeter legend with date below; Reverse: Swiss cross superimposed on two crossed flags and two crossed rifles, clasped hands above, denomination below, all enclosed within a laurel wreath. A lustrous example with light champagne toning. Though listed as "Common" in Richter, only 3,200 pieces were struck, of which 1,023 were melted in 1852.
