R-967a; Martin-525. By Henry Louis Vieuxmaire, Paris. 23mm. Obverse: Seven-line legend within laurel wreath; Reverse: Arms of Neuchâtel with Canton name above. A curious medal in that the event was held in Le Locle, the location of Huguenin who produced a plethora of shooting medals over the years - but not this one; it would be interesting to know the story.
