Obverse: Arms of Lausanne, Swiss cross above; perimeter legend; Reverse: Angel above, facing and flying rightward, holding banner inscribed LIBERTÉ ET PATRIAE from the Vaud Arms, man below, standing and facing, his upraised left hand also clutching the banner, broken sword at his feet, palm branch to left, and city view in the background; anepigraphic. This medal offers lustrous surfaces and a pleasing argent toning augmented by slightly darker toning in protected areas that highlights the design elements. Comes with leather case.
