Obverse: Cross of Switzerland over Coat of Arms of the Canton of Zug, oak and laurel wreath enclosing legend within; perimeter legend outside of wreath; Reverse: Defender holding flag and sword at left, with the town clock in the background at right. Listed as "Rare" in Richter with only 300 examples struck. Delightful design and a choice example with even dove-gray toning. Note that the "R-1678a" designation on the holder is in error; R-1678b is the correct designation for a silver specimen in the most recent edition of Richter.
