Maximinus I Thrax (AD 235-238). Lot of two (2) AR denarii. Both laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right. Reverses: (1) Salus seated left, feeding serpent (RIC IV 14. RSC 85a) // (2) Providentia standing left, holding wand over globe and cornucopia (RIC 20, RSC 75). Both well struck and lustrous. Choice Extremely Fine to Mint State, with scattered verdigris.
