MAXIMINVS PIVS AVG GERM, laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Maximinus right / VICTORIA GERMANICA, Victory standing left, holding wreath and palm frond; to left, bound captive seated left, head right. RIC IV 90. BMCRE 191-3. Chocolate brown patina. Boldly struck on a broad flan, with a brutishly realistic portrait. NGC AU 5/5 - 4/5, Fine Style.
