Pupienus (AD 238). AR denarius (2.44 gm). Rome, April-July AD 238. Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Pupienus right / Pax seated left, holding branch and scepter. RIC 4. RSC 22. Rare. Somewhat porous, toned surfaces, but with a portrait of fine style. NGC Choice XF 3/5 - 3/5 Fine Style.
