Chihli. Dollar Year 23 (1897), L&M-444, KM-Y65.1, VF Details (Artificial Toning, Cleaned) NGC. There is no "Artificial Toning" with this piece. This coin was, obviously, cleaned many years ago, but it has been kept in an old Wayte Raymond holder for over 50 years, causing a ring of peripheral toning, definitely not "Artificial." Most of the coins in the collection had this same peripheral toning.From The Robert Raymond Ruff Collection
