George II Maundy set 1740, Young laureate Head, S3716, a nice set graded as follows by NGC: Penny MS63, Twopence XF45, Threepence MS62, Fourpence AU58. The two Mint State and AU pieces have a uniform luster and most pleasing deep blue and red toning. The XF piece has almost matching toning though lightly cleaned.
