George III 1/2 Dollar ND (1797-99), ESC-611, S-3767, VF30 NGC. A pleasant, steel-gray specimen featuring the oval counterstamp of George III nestled into the neck of Charles III. Both the counterstamp and host coin are of the same condition. This popular and historic example of emergency coinage was struck over a Bolivia 4 Reales from 1778 PTS PR.
