Token Quartet of Scarce CuNi 5 Centavos, Four round 20 -22mm pieces struck in CuNi, with two being uniface, are all likely late 19th century products. David Plowman, whose very useful manuscript can be accessed for free online, under #225.05 shows the uniface El Pasaje "P" type with all incused features. Rulau illustrates it under his number Pma -7 and mentions some experts claim it to be from Venezuela. PT 320.05, Eklund 1063, Plumer p. 5 show the uniface Hotel Interoceanique of Colon issue; this is a very well conceived and executed design. PT 630.05, Eklund 1070, in the original envelope indicating its Brand and Norweb collection pedigree, is an S. Soracco of Colon example in very pleasant quality. Final is the Zubieta & Pasos type.
