Collectie Penningen en Munten Dhr. H. van Osch - Pax in Nummis - 1986 - Medal 'Peace with the Isles of Scilly' by J.P. Crumb - bronze 60 mm, 109.2 g. - FDC, extremely rare, ex purchased from the designer on 27/2-2000. The Netherlands had forgotten to sign the Isles of Scilly at the Peace of Westminster in 1654. In 1985 it was discovered that the Netherlands had been at war with these islands for almost 350 years. In 1986, the peace was signed.
