The Parthian Kingdom - Mithradates II (123-88 BC) - AR drachm (4.05 g.). Ekbatana mint. Bare-headed bust left with medium beard wearing diadem, earring visible / Archer seated right on omphalos holding bow, legend BAΣIΛEΩΣ - MEΓAΛOΥ - AΡΣAKOΥ – ΕΠΙΦΑΝΟΥ. Drachms of Mithradates II are of fine style and show his large hooked nose. Ex Peus Auction 376/377 #608. gVF
