The Parthian Kingdom - Partamaspates (AD 116) - AR drachm (3.81 g.). Probably struck at Ktesiphon upon his 'coronation' by Trajan. The obverse dies were the product of Roman engravers. Bust left with short beard, wearing tiara with star in centre, diadem with loop at top / Archer seated right on throne holding bow, archer's seat represented as horizontal line, standard Greek legend blundered, monogram 73 below bow.
