Obv.: VOC-monogram surmounted by X / rev.: Arabic legend: benam sultan abd (allah) "In the name of Sultan Abd (Allah)", refering to Sultan 'Abd Allah Qutb Shah (AD1626-1672) from whom the Dutch received the privilege of a Mint at Pulicat.
