Southern Rhodesia 10.3.1954 P-14cs PMG About UNC 55 EPQ 5 Pounds (Specimen)
A high grade specimen example of this important and popular type from Southern Rhodesia. A wonderful design is seen on this example, which has retained its original colors and despite having been graded AU comes with strong eye-appeal for the technical grade. Not generally available in any format and one of the quintessential Queen Elizabeth II type notes that belong in every advanced collection. Official Printer's Annotations and a specimen perforation are seen on this example, which was meant to be issued by the Southern Rhodesia Currency Board (a later version of this design was issued by the Central Africa Currency Board in 1955). PMG mentions "Previously mounted; printer's annotations".
