Switzerland, Bank in St. Gallen ND (ca. 1852) P-S439r PMG Gem UNC 66 EPQ 100 Franken (Remainder)
The highest denomination we can offer (a 500 Franken was also printed, but we have only ever seen a single example) of these notes for the Bank in St. Gallen printed by Toppan, Carpenter, Casilear & Co. Printed on thin paper, the survival of this note at this grade level is quite a miracle. Fantastic originality and eye-appeal are noted on this example and it is a fitting end to this unprecedented offering of American-printed notes for this Switzerland bank.  The city of St. Gallen is at the northeast corner of Switzerland and its canton borders Lake Constance.
