George V Specimen Box for Five Coins 1911, Charlton-7b. A box for housing the 5-coin Coronation-year Mint Set (Cent through 50 Cents). Red Moroccan leather box lined with purple plush velvet, fitted with five roundels to hold a half dollar, quarter, ten cent silver, five cent silver, and a one cent coin. Embossed text on lid reads "Specimen Coins / Silver and Bronze / Ottawa mint / 1911". The exterior slightly scuffed, and the silky fabric on inner lid has worn out at the hinges. Case only, no coins included.
