Gold sovereign, 1871. London. Proof - Plain edge - Large BP. Very rare.
Young head of Victoria facing left, hair tied in fillet; WW on truncation; VICTORIA D : G : BRITANNIAR : REG : F : D :. / St George on horseback slaying the dragon, horse with short tail, date and large B.P. in exergue.
About FDC (Fleur de Coin). Very attractive, with good cameo and strongly striated fields. Some light handling marks and slight friction to high points.
