ICH WILL EVCH DAS REICH BESCHEIDEN 22 · 29, Christ standing right, blessing a group of immigrants kneeling left; crowned throne in background / DEM IVNGER WIE DEM MEISTER, Christ and St. Andrew standing facing, each holding cross. Iridescent toning with some luster, a few hairlines. EF.

During the late 17th and early 18th centuries, the Prince-Archbishops of Salzburg subjected Protestants in their territories to a series of escalating persecutions, ultimately resulting in their expulsion in 1731. In response, the Prussian king Friedrich Wilhelm I invited the Protestants to settle in his lands, particularly East Prussia.
