IONIA, Uncertain. Circa 600-550 BC. EL Myshemihekte – Twenty-Fourth Stater (6.5mm, 0.67 g). Phokaic standard. Uncertain design (chicken wing, rabbit leg, or human leg?) / Incuse square. Adams I 1482, otherwise unpublished in the standard references. VF. Extremely rare.

The device on the obverse bears a strong resemblance to the obols attributed to Phlious in Phliasia (cf. BCD Peloponnesos 78–80), as does the reverse punch – a case of imitating types?
