NABATAEA. Aretas IV. Circa 9/8 BC-AD 40. Æ (12mm, 1.40 g, 12h). Petra mint. Struck circa 8/7 BC–AD 15/6. Laureate head right / Uncertain bell-shaped object with five fringes. CN 149; Meshorer, Nabataea 87; Al-Qatanani 188. Brown surfaces, a couple of flan flaws and area of weak strike on obverse. VF. Better preserved reverse than all examples on CoinArchives.
