KINGS of PARTHIA. Vardanes II. Circa AD 55-58. BI Tetradrachm (30mm, 14.12 g, 12h). Seleukeia on the Tigris mint. Dated Apellaios? 367 SE (November AD 55). Diademed bust left / Vardanes seated left, receiving wreath from Tyche standing right, holding scepter; year above, trace of uncertain month in exergue. Cf. Sellwood 69.1(for type); Sunrise –; Shore –. Some porosity and roughness, slight double strike on reverse. Near EF.
