Victoria (1837-1901), Pattern Decimal Penny, 1859/7, by L.C. Wyon and J. Wyon, in nickel-bronze, bust left with jewelled diadem, recut ornaments flanking date, rev. Britannia seated right, decimal penny above, one tenth of a shilling below, edge plain, 9.07g/12h (F 685, recté nickel-bronze; BMC 1980; cf. Norweb II, 675). Virtually as struck with a hint of original colour on reverse, extremely rare £2,000-£2,600
