The presented specimen is the second example of the short period of the mint's operation under the mintmaster Gideon de Jonge. The issues of this mintmaster were characterized in the description of the previous coin. In LEG on the reverse letter G is punched on repeated letter E (a die sinker's mistake).

Nicely preserved coin from a rarer period of minting gold ducats.
