Margolis, Richard. FIXED PRICE LIST NOS. 24–60. Complete for the period covered. Teaneck, 1965–2000. Small 8vo, Nos. 24–53 bound in two volumes, later blue quarter calf with blue cloth sides, gilt; spines ruled and lettered in gilt. Nos. 54–60 are as published. Also included is the only public auction conducted under his name, dated May 27–29, 1960 and held in conjunction with the Empire States Numismatic Association, bound in green cloth, gilt. Fine or nearly so. The first 23 lists of the series were published in a modest duplicated format on 8.5 by 14 inch paper, and are not included here. The Margolis lists are rarely encountered. A careful cataloguer and meticulous professional, these later lists are more professional in appearance and are illustrated. The main series ended with No. 59 in 1979. Margolis revived it, however, twenty-one years later, issuing a modestly produced list of numismatic literature for sale as Fixed Price List No. 60. A remarkable run of publications. Ex Richard E.
