Binding rubbed and worn, but sound; ex Manchester Public Libraries, with their bookplate, checkout slip and stamps, including blindstamp to plates; very good. A rare and important work covering the period from the fifteenth to the eighteenth century. The culmination of the author's lifetime of research in this area.
