Covers worn; hand-lettered spine labels affixed with tape; a couple of signatures loose; good. The second edition of Pinkerton's popular work, in a contemporary binding. Still of interest today. He covers topics that the more scholarly tomes of the era neglected, including the basics of assembling and caring for a collection of coins. Lipsius 314.
