Northern Ireland, Belfast Banking Company 6.1.1966 P-127c PMG Gem UNC 66 EPQ 5 Pounds (Last Prefix)

The Belfast Banking Company operated primarily in the Northern part of Ireland from 1827 to 1970 and was one of the smaller banks that issued banknotes during this time. This is one of the final issues for the company before its name ceased to exist as operations were merged with the Northern Bank, and it uses a design that traces its history back to 1923. This example has the last prefix for the issue, and in fact for all 5 Pound notes from the Belfast Banking Company.
