Northern Ireland, Northern Bank 1.10.1968 P-185s PMG Gem UNC 66 EPQ 50 Pounds (Specimen)

Not generally available in specimen form, and quite scarce as such. 1968 was the final date of issue for this classic type, the roots of which can be traced all the way back to the 1820s (although it did go through a number of modifications and modernizations). A pleasing Gem Uncirculated example of this specimen that, while it does not gather the money the issued notes do, is certainly as scarce.
