Barclays Bank D.C.O. was founded as a British bank but is mostly remembered today as one of the more prolific issuers of banknotes in the British Colonies around the world. While the focus of the banknote issuance of this bank was in the West Indies, issues also exist for elsewhere in the world, such as this example issued in modern-day Namibia. A scarce type in any grade, this circulated example is a nice problem-free representative for this scarce type printed by Waterlow & Sons.
