William IV (1830-37), gold Sovereign, 1832, second bare head right, nose points to second I in legend with flat top ear, W.W. incuse on truncation, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding, GULIELMUS IIII D: G: BRITANNIAR: REX F: D:, rev. crowned quartered shield of arms in frame, date ANNO 1832 below, 7.98g (Bentley 28; Marsh 17; S.3829B). Possibly once cleaned with some light surface marks both sides, patches of residual lustre, a bold very fine.

Calendar year mintage 3,737,065.

The Latin legends translates on obverse as "William the Fourth by the Grace of God, King of the Britons, Defender of the Faith," and on the reverse "In the year 1832."
