Victoria (1837-1901), silver proof Groat, 1839, young filleted head left, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding, VICTORIA D: G: BRITANNIAR: REGINA F: D:, rev. struck en Medaille, Britannia seated right with trident and shield, date in exergue, denomination FOUR PENCE surrounding, edge plain, 1.95g (Bull 3324; ESC 1933; Davies 1203; S.3913). Toned, practically as struck, rare with upright die axis.

The Latin legend translates as "Victoria by the grace of God, Queen of the Britons, Defender of the Faith."
