China Bank of Canton Limited, Shanghai 1 Dollar 1.1.1920 Pick S153Fs S/M#K63-11 Specimen PMG Gem Uncirculated 65 EPQ. An excellent and rare Specimen from the Bank of Canton, Limited. The 1 Dollar denomination is the only note in the first series dated 1920. This bank had operations in multiple countries, but it only issued notes in China from 1917 until the notes were redeemed in the mid-1930s. This Specimen is wonderfully preserved, and retains all of its original charm. Overprints and hole punched cancellations confirm Specimen status. A popular issuer among Chinese collectors.
